Fanny Cormier-Dubeau has a law degree from Université Laval. Prior to her legal studies, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Université du Québec à Montréal. During her studies, she received two scholarships in recognition of her academic excellence and community involvement.

During her legal studies, Ms. Cormier-Dubeau worked as a volunteer researcher at the legal information office at Université Laval. She also completed an internship in a community setting at the Centre de justice de proximité in Quebec City during which she was able to deepen her knowledge of the legal field, particularly family law.

These experiences sparked Ms. Cormier-Dubeau’s passion for family law, which allows her to combine her legal knowledge with her flair for client service and helping people.

Ms. Cormier-Dubeau joined Schirm & Tremblay Avocats team in 2023 as a student and future articling student at the Barreau du Québec, with her articling period scheduled to begin in 2024.

She is fluent in French and English.
